Echocardiography Department of Anzhen hospital is a team of esteemed cardiologists supervises all procedures include 12 staff, 1 chief physician, 7 associated professors, 3 attending and 1 charging nurse. Among them, 8 doctors own Doctor degree, 3 doctors own postgraduates and 7 graduate students of Department. More than 200 training physician all-around the country were trained in this department per year. Services include transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, fetal echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, contrast echocardiography. Transesophageal echocardiographies were performed in cardiac surgery: valve disease, congenital heart disease and coronary artery disease. Transthoracic echocardiography were performed in valve stenosis balloon dilation, atrial Septal Defect, Ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus occlusion in catheter lab, monitor the procedure of ablation of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, aortic aneurysm stent placement, heart or lung translation. In recent years, fetal echocardiography has rapidly developed into a unique items in my section, and set up fetal heart consultation Center in Beijing and even nearby provinces, and put up the tele-medicine in fetal echocardiography. In 2013, fetal heart diseases maternal-fetal medical consultation center was set up.

Service areas:

1. Secondary prevention of fetal cardiac malformations as a link with congenital heart disease tertiary prevention

Congenital heart disease (CHD) rang the first in common 23 kinds of newborn congenital birth defect, most children with CHD died during the wait for treatment, which bring a heavy burden on the families and community. So, secondary prevention of congenital heart diseases-prenatal echocardiographic examinations is the key points and focus in congenital heart disease tertiary prevention.

He Yihua professors led the team with research funding support built multiple platform including international cooperation platform and national long-distance network consultation Center, carry out the medical research in hemodynamics of fetal congenital heart disease, ultrasonographic and pathological changes of fetal cardiac malformations and other related studies when she come from the United States. Established a large sample of fetal cardiac imaging, bio-specimen database. By January 2014, the database reached 6,400 cases. Successfully held three sessions, "international seminar of fetal echocardiography". Established the international partnership with the world leadership group in fetuses ultrasound areas related including United States Philadelphia children's Hospital, Yale University School of medicine for fetal CHD consultation work.

In 2013, fetal heart diseases maternal-fetal medical consultation center was set up and were recognized by patients and experts in the early run, not only benefit patients enjoy a professional, multidisciplinary, green channel service, and trained a group of solving the problem of interdisciplinary team of experts, graduate student teams, for patients with better services. 4. Attempt and exploration of new ultrasonic evaluation in catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and great vessel disease evaluation recent years.

何怡华教授带领团队为国内胎儿心脏超声诊断工作搭建国际合作和国内远程网络会诊中心平台，辐射北京地区及周边省市，并于2013年促成了胎儿心脏病母胎医学会诊中心，中央电视台新闻联播栏目进行了报道。

2. 三维经食管超声在二尖瓣成形术中的监测及二尖瓣对合指数的定量研究

何怡华教授带领团队研究RT-3D-TEE对合程度和二尖瓣返流的因果及定量关系，为二尖瓣成形术中即刻判断手术效果及预后提供理论基础。

3. 肥厚性梗阻型心肌病心肌化学消融术治疗方面

采用冠脉血流显像结合心肌声学造影在判断和定位靶血管，得到国内多家医院的推广应用。

4.近年在房颤消融预测和随访、大血管疾病超声评价中做了新的尝试和探索。

Teaching and scientific research achievements:
