主要从事胃肠动力疾病的研究.经过多年的临床积累，对消化科常见病多发病的诊断及治疗有着丰富临床经验。熟练掌握了食管测压术、肛管直肠测压术、食管酸反流检测术、胃胆汁反流的检测术、胃及直肠感觉测定术、胃电图等消化功能的诊疗技术，以及肝硬化腹水回输术、食道支架成形术、超声导向经皮肝穿注射无水酒精治疗肝癌等技术。
荣誉成就：
2004年参加在美国举办的世界胃肠动力大会，并获得由美国动力协会（AMS）颁发的"青年研究奖"(Young Investigate Award)。
